Captain Jarrod Hodgkins led the pack around the course last Saturday returning to the clubhouse with a gross of 68 giving him a nett of 63. No countback was needed as Jarrod finished 2 shots clear of Graham Green who finished on 65. Third place was grabbed by Peter Maidment who did require a countback as both he and Graham Gilbert finished on 66 with Peter eventually getting the nod for third place.

Wayne Groombridge got the daily double by winning the nearest the pin on the 13th and the 17th with the latter being the money hole. Bob Kelly (not a misprint) drove a loch-ness monster down the 1st to claim the men’s long drive whilst Teresa Fairclough claimed the same for the Lady’s on the 5th. Captain Jarrod won the nearest the pin on the 2nd as did Craig Brown on the 8th. Mathew Templeman claimed the nearest the pin for 3 shots on the par 5, 9th hole with Lyn Lissa getting the shot of the day with her long putt on the 18th.
